A race of flightless avians, mostly corvids. It is said that the Kenku people of old once had magnificent wings, but they have since lost them and the ability to fly due to some hereditary curse. For the longest time, it was also thought that Kenku didn't have the ability to talk and form sentences on their own, and could only mimic what they've learned from other people due to their incredible mimicry abilities. However, this turned out to not be true, and instead talking to non-kenku using their own spoken words was a cultural taboo which was followed religiously by even the youngest Kenku. In recent times, this cultural restriction on talking has been lifted by most Kenku families, tribes and societies, but some old hardliners remain.
Kenku are sometimes considered to have had a connection to The Raven Queen, though the precise connection is unknown.
