The third of the three areas that make up the Royal Union, located in the west of Albia and bordering on the High Lordship of Lugh. Joined the union when the Queen of Wanil married an Albian King. Wanil is famous mostly for two things: One, besides Common, most citizens speak a language called Wanila, which is known for being almost impossible to comprehend, almost as impossible to write, and known for sounding quite funny and a little bit like draconic, and two, for its worship of Bahamut and reverence of dragons. According to legend, a Red Dragon that grew beyond its original evil, selfish nature, escaped the clutches of Tiamat and joined the side of Bahamut, once saved the Wanilian armies from certain doom, when he took over as the commander on the battlefield, when the commanding King of Wanil was killed. Said dragon was said to have ruled as king for a while, after the previous king fell, and made Bahamut-Worship the most prominent religion in the area, and then left, before promising that he'd return if Wanil was ever in danger again. In modern times, Wanil is said to house quite a few dragons. Draconic sorcerers and Drakewarden Rangers are also quite widespread. Nonetheless, much of Wanil is very rural, with only a few bigger towns and most of its population consisting of farmers.
