Envie

This Race has optional racial feats in its DMsGuild document, if they're so desired; Base-Race features from the Living Index book are preferred, as they're the definitive version of the race, so the subraces from the DMsGuild-PDF aren't allowed.

The Envie (pronounced Ahn-vee) are a race closely related to Lizardfolk, resembling Alligators, and other crocodilians. However, Envie are even MORE food-motivated than the average Lizardfolk, even by the standards of the average crocodilian Lizardfolk! Many of them are defined by their ravenous, almost unending hungers, as well as their incredible hunting prowess, that even Lizardfolk are intimidated by. They are absolutely gigantic, can be quite aggressive, especially whenever there is food involved, but more often than not, an Envie in a casual setting when not on the hunt can be actually quite mellow and pleasant to be around. It's not uncommon for Envie to also enjoy the company of other humanoids after they had a good hunt; especially when there's food and drink involved.

Envie are largely solitary, living in small packs at best, and live in swampy, subtropical and tropical areas. However, as with any race or species, the urge to travel (or the desire to taste new things) sometimes leads them to colder areas as adventurers, merchants or mercenaries... and sometimes, just as the huge new lizard guy who ate all the food at the local tavern one night and then left.

Envie reach adulthood at age 15 and can live up to 100, and sometimes a bit beyond. Alignment-wise, Envie lean neutral to chaotic.
