Boccob

Boccob is the Sancstorylian deity of Magic, arcane knowledge, balance and foresight, as well as a deity of knowledge and learning, which is a domain he shares with Ioun. He's also the most detached of the sancstorylian gods, caring little about being worshiped, and only very rarely dealing with the affairs of mortals. It is said that he spends most of his days acquiring knowledge and studying the planes. Many of his followers do the exact same, and many of his temples also contain libraries of arcane knowledge. However, due to Boccob's rather detached nature, he's actually rather sporadically worshiped... though his followers say that learning and using magic is an act of worship in itself.
