The Party, after finding a caged Kobold in the ruin last time, goes on to talk to this kobold and question him. Turns out his name is Ohzi, and he's been imprisoned because he was getting tired of Henich and how he was trying to brute force the puzzle that has stumped the entire kobold crew for a month. He offered the party information and help in exchange for his freedom, as he also really doesn't like Henich and wants to to something to something to fuck him over. He tells the party about some traps, about Henich's secret stash outside and about a potential ambush. He then decided to wait at the entrance of the dungeon.
The party makes their way through the rest of the ruin, making it through an attempted ambush, and defeating two kobolds that were attempting to mine, Mikhail couldn't help but notice a brick, sticking out of the wall, finding a secret hallway. As the party went inside, Volk Lesnoy noticed several slits in the wall, and looking through them, he found Henich, currently despairing over the puzzle. He also noticed some buttons, and with those, the party was able to do an ambush, as these buttons opened secret doorways to the last room.
One combat later, where Henich casually dropped that he was actually hired to find this artifact before being knocked out, the party looked at the puzzle: A simply plaque, written with the words "Don't forget, the password is 1234", and several stone plates ranging from 1 to 9. Opening the puzzle door with ease, the party found a treasure chest filled with treasure... as well as magic items, and the Illiadian Artifact, the Ruby Bands of Might, created by the Illiadian deity Hadonen.
Mikhail talked to Ohzi, who had been made the new leader of the kobolds, and recommended him to seek out The Kobolds near Vant'ra, which he agreed to. And with that, with Philomena Snapdragon the clear victor of the party's contest, and after taking Henich's stash and with Henich in tow, wrapped up in rope like a birthday present, the party makes their way back to Victé, in order to teleport back to Argentis.
