The capital of the Archduchy of Oesterholm in the Grenwal Confederate Empire. Veduna has a rich and varied history as one of Grenwal's biggest cities. It started out as a fort city of The Great Liwilai Empire, then served as a bulwark against the Osé Sultanate when it tried invading Liwilai hundreds of years ago, and nowadays it serves as a city of high culture and high fashion. As many of the empire's emperors were royals of the Archduchy of Oesterholm, Veduna also has the prestige of having been the capital of the empire for a large part of its history, even if it isn't right now. Nonetheless, Veduna is home to many diplomats to the empire and Oesterholm, and many diplomatic discussions are had here; sometimes even with Oesterholm simply being a neutral place for such meetings.
