The party goes on to have a talk with Samuel O'Lenaghan, as they leave towards the city walls of Dulenn. Samuel wishes to bond with the party and asks them about the origin of their name and what exactly they're are seeking. Volk Lesnoy does happily tell him the story of how their designation used to be AG-8, and how they turned it into Agate; especially since it was his idea. Volk also warned him about Philomena Snapdragon's thieving tendencies. Sooty told him about his quest to find his owner, while Dareth, who introduced himself as only "Lion'el", told him he was looking for his family.

The travel to the location of the bandit camp took 3 days. The first day was uneventful, but the second day, the party stumbled upon a sacred grove to Melora... only that its trees had been felled. Samuel assumed that this was done by the bandits before their infection with Malar's Fever. However, before they could trace the way to their camp, three oozes made from thickened tree-sap flowed out of the tree stumps. Initiative is rolled, a fight is had, and the Amber Oozes, as they turned out to be, had been destroyed. "This is what happens when sacred and magical trees are felled", said Samuel. Philomena then proceeded to say something very interestingly profound and deep regarding the nature of gods and nature itself, much to Dareth's surprise.

At camp, Dareth and Volk have a bit of a talk. Dareth is actually interested in Lycanthropy and asks if there is a type that would fit a follower of Tyr like him, even just a casual one. Volk denied it, explaining the whole deal with Lycanthropy being blessing and curses of Selûne, Sehanine Moonbow and Malar, with the manifestation being tied to the god where their Lycanthropy originates from. In fact, he explained how it is said that Selûne and Sehanine created the first Lycanthropes, but Malar stole some of them away and bastardized their gifts. Volk also explained that it nonetheless is dangerous and a huge responsibility, even if its a type of Lycanthropy that one of the moon goddesses bestows, so it's not really worth it. Dareth acknowledged it and went to bed.

The next day, the party arrived at the bandit camp. Philomena, thanks to the light drizzle of rain, was able to use her Blue Willow Cloak to invisibly infiltrate and look for an opening in their defenses. She found a broken section in the back of the camp, and the party was able to start their ambush, with Sooty, Philomena and Volk in the back, while Dareth, Mikhail and Samuel would tackle the front gate.

Initiative is rolled, several infected lycanthropes and shifters were either felled or knocked unconscious, and Dareth... gets bitten, and feels a bit funny. But then a roar is heard, as out of one of the houses in the camp came a Werewolf Pack Lord; likely the very same that infected the camp with Malar's Fever.

SESSION END.
