Starting off where we last left off, the party just accepted their new quest. First, Mikhail would go on to buy a shield at the local blacksmith, the Irons in the Fire, in order to prepare himself for the next mission. Zora also received a letter from the Midnight Sun, an answer to her last letter, which she would read later. At the HQ of the Liwilai Adventurer's Guild though, the party was stopped by Marlène Lebas, who had a letter for Sooty and Dareth Lion'el Griffmane... containing a written warning from a higher-up at the Guild regarding the use of unknown spells that create mass panics. This quite annoyed Dareth, but amused Sooty.
The party then used the teleportation circle to go to Svantmiirik, and meet up with their client. After finding the Restaurant in the College District, the party was first enamored by the smell of meat and spices. But soon, they found a Human man of Chosonian origin; the owner of the restaurant, Pak Sang-Hun, who quickly ushered the Agate Seekers into his kitchen. There, he revealed his secret; he was being helped by a type of Fey Creature, a Dokkaebi called Seo, who summons ingredients to him that are hard to acquire in the Kingdom of Bursztyn, using a magical club. Seemingly someone stole it, and used it in the forest to the north, as he can feel whenever someone uses his club. It's also worth noting that a woman was seen in the restaurant, also of Chosonian descent, ordering a lot of meat, before the club went missing. After the party was offered a nice Chosonian lunch, they then went their way to finish their quest.
As they made their way through the woods north of Svantmiirik, the party came across a rather tranquil pool of water with many animals sleeping around it. After some research, the party was able to determine that it was a sacred pool to Eldath, goddess of forest waters and peace.
However when the party made camp, and Sooty and Zora had watch, the two noticed something ways off in the distance. Not really thinking about the potential cosequences, Zora sent her dog Maya out to scout it out and bring it back; only for Sooty to jump onto her back. However, the two were gone for a significantly longer time than expected, prompting Zora to wake up the rest of the party and look for them.
Sooty and Maya meanwhile came across a group of Gnolls out hunting, who took the opportunity to ambush Sooty and Maya. A fight ensued, and the party was able to reconvene and deal with the Gnolls. However, Mikhail was left angry and embittered about the event, namely that Sooty and Maya went out alone without the rest of the party. And with that, the party returned to their camp to sleep.
