The Beast of Butchery, Lord of Savagery, the Lord of the Death Dells, the 422nd Layer of The Abyss. The demon lord of evil Gnolls and supposed creator of their race (though this is hotly debated). Cruel and sadistic, this demon lord is often seen as a mindless beast. He encourages his followers to strive for ever-crueler methods of slaughter, causing as much fear as possible before death. His appearance is that of a hulking gnoll with matted fur and a wide, gnashing grin. Anyone meeting with Yeenoghu directly has no hope of parlay; meeting with him inevitably means battle... Unless he grows bored and simply leaves. However, his savagery hides a cruel cunning.
Yeenoghu has a bitter rivalry with Baphomet, the Lord of the Endless Maze. When their followers meet, battle is sure to follow.
