Dae-Hyun originally hails from Unknown where he spent his childhood alternating between exploring in the mountains and extensive studying. After encountering ghosts in the mountains when he was a boy, he developed an interest in the processes of death as well as those of life and his academic pursuits focused in on medicine. After passing the medical exams, he join the The Imperial Gwishin Bureau much to the distress of his parents.
