Aleran Cassius was a famous mage from millennia ago. He is revered as the Mage Patron (see Patronage) - and is said to have founded the Aleran Cassius College of Mages as well as created the infamous prison Dunbar Fortress. His true legacy has become deeply intertwined with legend, and so few historical facts are know about him.
