Warlord Bajok the Skullcleaver had once a vision from Gruumsh to pillage the great city of Itzca with a warband of over two hundred warriors. On their way, they were regularly waylaid, led into the pathway of hunting monsters, and picked off mercilessly by poison darts. It took only seven Chamelos to ensure that not a single orc made that warband survived. Such are the dangers of the forests of the Seraphon...   -Accounts of the lost Skullcleavers

One of the races of Lizardfolk to join the Seraphon. Chamelos are recognized for their far more chameleon like appearance. Posessing frilled heads and eyes able to move independently, unlike real chameleons they can camouflage with ease in their environment.

Jungle Scouts.

Unlike the Skinks and Saurus the Chamelos rarely live within their Seraphon temple cities. Preferring instead to be the nations scouts and spies. Navigating through the trees with swift movements and protecting intruders wishing to wage war against the Seraphon. Preferring to use poison laced blowguns to silently strike down their enemies without them ever knowing they are in a battle. Very rarely do Chamelos interact with non-Seraphons but there have been cases where they will join wood elves during battles should the two ever share a common goal.

Ability Score Improvement. Your Dexterity score increases by 2 and your Wisdom score increases by 1.

Adaptive Camouflage. As an action, you can change the color of your skin to match the color and texture of your surroundings, giving you advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide in those surroundings. You also have proficiency in stealth.

Prehensile Tail. You can grasp onto things with your tail. It has a reach of 5 feet, and it can lift yourself up if properly coiled around an object.
