[Idris Doryu]
As the tsunami subsides and Idris finds himself exhausted yet relieved, he falls back onto the ground, his chest heaving with exhaustion. Taking a moment to catch his breath, he feels a sense of gratitude wash over him for having survived the calamity. With a deep sigh, he kneels down on the ground, his hands clasped together in prayer.

With the echoes of the disaster still ringing in his ears, Idris closes his eyes and begins to offer his prayers to his guide. His voice is a whisper amidst the chaos left behind by the tsunami, yet it carries a profound sincerity and reverence.

"Guide of mine, who watches over me in times of need, I thank you for your protection amidst the storm," he begins, his words a mixture of supplication and gratitude.

As he continues his prayer, Idris's hands begin to glow with a soft, soothing light, casting a gentle radiance around him. The healing energy flows from his fingertips, enveloping him and everyone around him in a comforting embrace.

"With your guidance, I have weathered the tempest and emerged on the other side. I ask for your continued strength and guidance as I rebuild what has been lost," he murmurs, his voice filled with determination and hope.

As the prayer reaches its conclusion, Idris feels a renewed sense of vigor coursing through his weary body. With a final whispered word of thanks, he opens his eyes, feeling refreshed and ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead.

[DM]
As Idris completes his prayer a feeling of utter peace and warmth fill him. The warmth increases in intensity until it becomes a fiery passion, to protect, to save, to walk the tight line between watcher and supplicant.

You have had this feeling before once, in a field of green in Phandalin. The others hasn't seen, not truly, but you remember the radiant form of Lumalia, the guardian angel that has watched over your family for almost a millennia.

She is here again. And wanting to speak to you...

The arrival of Lumalia, Mystra's Vengeance, was not subtle. Even though the sun still shone the shooting star that rocketed downwards must have surely been visible for miles around. In the shape of a winged humanoid clad in full plate armour made from an unkown material she descended until she was only a meter above the shallow waters that touched Leilon.

She turned to adress Idris, who was still kneeling from his prayer. Her expression was intent but her intentions were unreadable.

"WHEN LAST WE MET MY PALADIN YOU ASKED OF ME A BOON. TO TAKE A CHANCE UPON YOU AND ALLOW YOU TO CHARGE TO THE RAZOR THIN EDGE BETWEEN GRACE AND DAMNATION" her voice boomed.  As she finished a think smile appeared upon her perfect features. When she spoke next there was a gentle tone to her words. "And I see this was a good decision. You have not fallen but instead upheld the virtues you swore to."

Her slight smile flattens to a stern line.

"However I see a new stain on your soul, a dark stain, a deal made with creatures best left in the void. This worries me son of Seth."

[Idris Doryu]
With his head still bowed in reverence, Idris's heart swelled with both gratitude and determination. "My lady," he began, his voice steady and unwavering, "I am but a servant of the Light, bound by duty and honor to bring about peace and justice wherever I tread. Though my path may take me through shadowed realms and pact-bound alliances, I do so with the unwavering conviction that even darkness can be swayed by the brilliance of truth and compassion."

Raising his gaze to meet hers, Idris's eyes burned with fervor. "I see this pact not as a surrender to darkness, but as a testament to the strength of my resolve. For in the crucible of adversity, it is our choices that define us. And I choose to wield every weapon at my disposal in service of the greater good."

Pausing for a moment, he awaited her response with a mixture of anticipation and resolve. "How may I serve you today, my guide, in pursuit of our shared vision for a world bathed in the light of peace?"

[DM]
Witnessing the Paladin’s strength of conviction seemed to mollify the Angel, her eyes softening from stern judgement to an acceptance and perhaps pride.
"So be it, Idris. The pact that was made before Savras’s eyes means not that I command you. It means that I trust your judgement and will continue to do so."

The Deva descended even further, her feet touching the waters below which started swirling as if caught in a small whirlpool. A pained expression fills her face.
"I have been absent from your family for generations and this pains me, but no more. I stand by your side."

Her composure reforming to the stern figure you are used to, she continues.
"There is naught you can do to serve me Paladin that you do not do already by striking at the ones who dare bring terror upon the land. Rather I come to assist you in turn. There is great attention to this play by powers beyond the mortal ken. Divine attention.  My gaze is blinded and what is occurring is unclear, but one thing I can foretell – there will be an assault upon your soul. The last thing the powers that strive in this place want is a force of the light and so they will try to crush you. I sense the taint of a demonic influence here, of the kind that slew your ancestor.  Remember that temptation that leads to downfall will feel justified."

With that, Lumalia waves a hand, and a blast of light engulfs the nearby area.

"For your efforts here a boon, the waters have been cleansed from the vile influences that plagued it for a time. Any who drink from the town well will find their bodies and souls restored by a small measure."

[Arya]
Arya wouldn't do anything more than watch and listen. Wery curious about this creature just appearing.

[Idris Doryu]
Idris continued his prayerful posture, a solemn gratitude evident in his demeanor.

"I thank you, my guide, for bestowing your blessing upon these lands, healing and purifying them," he whispered reverently.

As he rose to his feet, arms outstretched, his gaze swept over the citizens they had just saved.

"Observe closely, beloved citizens," he proclaimed, his voice carrying with it a sense of awe and reverence. "This land is graced by divinity, a testament to the benevolence of higher powers. It is my sacred duty as a holy guardian to nurture and protect such fertile grounds. Let this abundance serve as a tangible symbol of the eternal promise bestowed upon us."

[Pine]
Pine would not have been drawing attention to himself during all this, but those that noticed him there, those with keen perception, would see a discontent in those red eyes, perhaps even anger. It was difficult to tell though, considering the unease and threat his presence caused.

[I was wondering if I could have Pine make a check of some sort to see whether it was the Talos influence that has been wiped out, or also an undead influence. Whether he thinks that the blessing would harm undead etc]

[DM]
[Your senses did not pick up any necromancy in Leilon. Whatever the Deva did, doesn't seem to have changed that. Considering the cult of Talo's speciality it seems safe to say it was their Influence that was removed. ]

[DM]
Lumalia would rise as you spoke, the light emanating from her becoming brighter as she went further up.

The settlers who had been rescued were mostly numb from the shock of the past day but when you adress them that slides away and is replaced by pious awe. You notice of the younger men, his eyes are blazing with fervour at your words.

As Lumalia fades from view you (and only you) hear her voice clearly as if she stood beside you.
"BRING FIRE UPON THOSE WHO COVET RUIN!"
