(S40) This damn place

- Group loot mage corpses

- Kael casts locate object on his sword (it is 120ft above)

- Kael checks up stairs and finds a room with crystals around a sarcophagus

- Tiaumil asks three questions to the mage's soul he captured:

1.What exactly the tower people are enacting in terms of spell processes (practical, greed)

2.What are the most effective ways of disrupting that (practical)

3. Locations and passwords of portal keys for the various rooms and levels (practical)

- Kael and Tiauil find out more about the corpse and how it linked to what is going on in Merdelain

- They use the password to deactivate the crystals for a minute

- Kael tries to open the sarcophagus and gets mind whammied. 

- Combat with a husk of himself

- Tiaumil and Arya figure out how to use the crystals to open the sarcophagus

- Loot and Glyph key acquired

Short rest 

(Arya attuned to her bronze armour, Siax to his moonblade, Kael to his gaunltets, and Tiaumil to the glyph key)

- Tiaumil gets Kael to use the scroll of greater restoration on himself

- Party move through the north white portal to the room beyond

- Lightning trap they avoid, but alert next room.  

- Slave eldarin comes to investigate, leaves a note on the wall in druidic

- Arya uses a rat to send a note

- Eldarin sends one back with details.

- Party opens the door, combat to start next session

[group should focus fire on the bald one to release the eldarin slave]

- Books of their own on other two mages, but much lesser tomes for sure

- Bronze statue looking like a claw, not magical, but it is an arcane focus

- 3 scrolls of mage armour

- Small bronze band around her finger, not sure if its magical or not.

- Magic rod (tiaumil's previous one)

- Ornate gauntlet kael was wearing (gauntlets of ogre power)

- Crystal cylinder, with magic scrolls in crystal tubes. (detect magic, protection from evil and good, lesser restoration, greater restoration, magic weapon, misty step, remove curse, protection from energy)

- Jewels and treasures in there.

- 15 sheets of vellum, a pen, and enchanted ink for scribing.

- Silver censor (ritual focus) 300gp

- Diamond reliquary 1000gp
