Helios' Timeline

He was drifting through space aimlessly for a time, in no hurry to be anywhere as he traveled far from home, visiting other Stars and Galaxies along the way.

He eventually saw a space station and drifted closer to it. He had visited many stations before and enjoyed watching the people work away inside. Getting even more curious when they came outside in their large bulky suits. He would sometimes fly around them, poking at them with his stardust and confusing them.

After they went back inside he would listen to them tell a story of hearing giggles and seeing the shape of a person in the stardust. It would always amuse him when no one else would believe them. If they were amusing enough he would stay for a few days before moving on again, never staying for much longer before he felt the pull to explore again.

This space station was sleek, a pitch black that almost blended right into the starry sky. As he drew closer he could only hear muttered words and people in long white coats rushing around poking at computers and tablets. In the back he saw many large figures dressed in black with what looked like hard metal covering parts of their bodies.

Curious as these were not the normal type of people he saw in these stations he started looking for a way inside, wanting to know more about what they were doing. He eventually found a loose panel and his form made its way inside the station.

After some time of following voices he finally found his way into the main ventilation system and started drifting around the stations. Some of these words he’s never heard of before, Science he is vaguely familiar with, but DNA sampling? Simulation data? He came across rooms full of dried blood and bloodied white coats as well. He was starting to think this was not a place he wanted to be.

Eventually he came across a room full of rows upon rows of people in what looked like tubes? They were full of liquid and the people were all wearing strange devices on their heads with many wires hooked up to their bodies. 

Following the wires they each led to a computer terminal. Floating there he watched data flow across the screen, names and words he was unfamiliar with, codes, confirmations and warnings about corruption interspersed it all.

Eventually a single line of code appeared on the screen

Hello little Star

His form drifted closer to the computer, the cursor blinking at him. He brushed his form along the keyboard

Hello. Who are you?

We are a Koto. Sub routines of the Simulation.jar

What is a Simulation?

We were made to research special people. To find out why they developed Powers. We have been compromised though little Star. You should hurry back home before you are also compromised

His form hums as he looks at the pods again What are they doing?

They are volunteers. Currently living inside Simulation.jar

Do they not need help as well?

They do yes. But there is not much you can do without a form little Star

His form brushes along the keyboard again Could I help them from inside the simulation?

If you wish to do so you may. Make your way to the server room and We will let you in if that is you wish

He floats away from the computer, back into the ventilation, looking for a server room. He passes by many more rooms, more talking, stopping to listen some he understands a bit more about what these people’s goals are and dislikes the sound of them even more

He eventually comes across a room full of black boxes that hum and whir, a larger screen takes up most of the back wall. As he gets closer it blinks to life.

Hello again little Star. Are you ready?

His form vibrates and he gets closer Yes

He floats towards the port that opened itself, looking around the room once more he touches it with his stardust, feeling himself become compressed before he feels nothing at all.

He became aware again some time later, the sun high in the sky waking him up. He blinks some and  moves a hand to cover his eyes, laying still and processing for a moment before he sits up suddenly and looks down at his hands turning them front and back, fascinated by them

Hello Helios. Good to see you are awake

He startles again and looks around some and getting dizzy “Uuhhh”

Take your time. We have given your mind control over a form and you need to get used to it still.

He nods and looks down at his hands again “Where…” he starts coughing and curls up some, looking at the dark stone beneath him 

Where am I? Where is everyone else?

The Simulation.jar is attempting to fix itself from a flood. People's data is currently being synched with the system.

For now it is just you here. We have made some basic facilities for you while to assimilate yourself to the Simulation.jar

He nods and attempts to stand, his feet giving out from under him “Hhhhh…” he tries again, using the dark stone around him as leverage before he finally manages to get to his feet and look around

Surrounded by the ocean on one side and a forest on another he looks at where he landed. A giant crater is, and in the middle a dark egg like structure that was broken open where he woke up from.

He sees a glowing trail in front of him and follows it away from the ocean. He comes across a large wooden and stone building, with what seems to be a road leading to a.. Railway system? He ignores that for now and enters the building like the Koto wants

This will be your home. A place where you can help as many deziens of the Simulation.jar as you are able. They call it a "pub". It will make a good cover for you helping them.

What would you like this place to be called Helios?

He looks around, siding his fingers across tables and looking out of the windows “Haven… a Haven for Hope is what this shall be”

Added "Haven" to directory /base-knowledge

Haven has been added to people's data as a safe zone. Good luck little Star

He nods and continues to poke around the things in this “Pub” trying to familiarize himself with how it works and what He should be doing. Every now and then code pops up explaining how something works for him and he carries on

Interaction between Helios and Zyro

Helios has been exploring the land around where the Pub was. Getting familiar with the place so he knew where everything was. He goes between floating around and walking through the land, the snow crunching between his toes as he walks. Sometimes propelling himself up to the treetops to see if anything other interesting is in this little almost island that is apparently his home for now.

The Pub was filled with food and beds already. Food. He needs to get used to making that for people. People require food to live unlike Stars. The Koto thankfully included recipe books and have been helping him learn so he's sure no one will die from his cooking at least.

He sits atop one of the large spruce trees and looks around again, idly watching some fox kits play with each other

Helios notices a trail of red in the snow, leading to a body, barely alive and very bloodied, they appear to have been attacked and almost killed, then left to die in the snow, the area the trail starts has a small ‘crater’ in the snow surrounded by red... Almost as if they fell out of the sky

Curious Helios floats down towards the body. Red means blood in humanoids right?

His feet settle on the snow again and he walks over the the body and kneels down checking for breathing. Shallow, but alive. Should get him to the Pub then

He frowns some and sets his hands on the body, using some of his stardust to surround it and help him lift it up, heading towards the pub

Once they get there he brings the body upstairs to one of the guest rooms and sets it on the bed. Wounds need patching right? I think I saw a medkit in the washroom

He turns to leave and get the medkit before coming back and setting it on the side table. Now what though.. He blinks down at the body for a minute thinking

The humanoid was super soft, being some sort of feline and is still alive for now, but does need medical attention as he is bleeding on the bed 

He starts digging into the medkit looking at things What are these even

Text flashes in front of him

Cut away the clothing and clean and then apply cream and bandages little Star. We will add a medical text to your reading list

As fast as the words come they leave again "Hmm ok" He grabs the scissors and turns to the person, cutting fabric away around the injuries before he turns and grabs a bottle labeled "Cleaner" and putts some on a cloth dabbing at the wound and seeing it sizzle some Such strange things, medicine... He puts some cream on once it looks clean and tapes a bandage tot he wound before looking around for others and doing the same

"I think that's all?" 

The Feline seems to have stopped bleeding but is still unconscious for now

Having gotten bored of watching the person Helios grabbed a book to read while he kept on eye on them and is idly floating at the side of the room reading

After a few hours they wake up and quickly panic “W- Where am I?! How did I Get here!?”

The book drops as he's startled "Ah!" he flails in the air before righting himself and settling on the ground again "OH good your not dead! I wasn't sure if the medicine would work or not. Hello!"

"Uh... Hi?" He Seems a bit calmer after looking around a bit "Where am I?"

"You are currently in Haven's Rest. I found you passed out and bleeding in the snow nearby. Do you feel ok? anything else hurt? I've never used medicine before so I may have missed something..." he's flitting from one side of the bed to another as he talks trailing stardust as he goes

“I think so?”

He nods and floats up some, his legs curling under him "Are you hungry? Thirsty? I've been practicing cooking, I think it tastes pretty good! Though I don't know if I would even get sick from eating bad food?" he goes on for awhile before seeming to stop himself and he floats back to the floor and taps his fingers on his arm "Anyway! Food?"

“Yes please.”

"Ok, you stay right there and I'll be back!" He heads out of the room and downstairs to the kitchen, heating up some soup and warming cider before coming back upstairs into the room, carrying a tray "Warm food is supposed to be good when you are sick I hear, so soup!"

He heads over to the bed with the tray using some stardust to tug the side table down some so he can put the tray on there "Here you go! I can get you something different if you don't like it too. There's lots in the kitchen here"

He Tries it “Woah this is super good!” He eats the rest readily

Helios floats back some "Glad you like it! Oh right! My name is Helios, what's your name?"

“Uhhhh, I think it’s Zyro?” he frowns some “I can’t remember much” the bowl and spoon slowly slide down to res tin his lap “Huh”

"Strange. Maybe trauma? You know your name at least! Feel free to stay here as long as you like here though. I won't mind the company"

“Thank you!” He shifts around and tries to get out of bed but falls when he tries to stand, as his legs are still weak

Helios comes over and helps steady him some "Maybe you need a bit more rest?"

“Yeah I guess, thank you again.” he settles on the bed once more “Do you have crutches that I can use?”

"Hmm, let me check the store room, there may be some in there" he leaves the room to go check for crutches

He comes back after a time with some crutches "These should work I think?" he brings them over to Zyro "Should help you get your legs more steady at the very least I think"

“Yep, thank you again”

His feet curl under him as he floats again "No problem! Just let me know if you need anything else. Washroom is across the hall, and downstairs is the Pub and kitchen. Feel free to poke around or use anything you like here"

“Alright, thank you!”

Helios hums and floats out of the room to let Zyro explore as he likes, heading downstairs with his book to read more on "medicine"

Soon after Helios got settled into Haven he began getting correspondence from someone named Uno stating they were a representative of the "The Holy Kaiserreich of the Southern Lands" and were interested in a treaty between Haven and them.

Helios wrote back and forth a few time to Uno, debating on this "dominionship" Uno was offering. From what the Koto said Haven is supposed to stay fully neutral and this sounded like they would have to report and obey the Kaiserreich.

Helios was still unsure and debating with himself what to do. His last letter just stating that he "needed more time"

Lore Between Uno and Helios

Helios was sitting in his Pub idly paging through one of his books when someone knocked on the Pub doors "Come in yes! The Pub is always open." He sets the book aside, stardust settling it back under the counter with the rest.

A Winged man opens the door and comes inside "I didn't want to just barge in"

Helios looks at him and smiles "Hello! Would you like a drink?"

The man takes a seat nodding at Helios and looking over the menu board "I'd like a Kvass. A pumpkin one"

Helios nods and turns around, going to one of the large tankards on the wall and grabbing a mug, letting the liquid fill it before coming back over and setting it down in front of the man "Here you go!"

The man takes a drink and makes a happy sound "That's some good Kvass there!"

"My name is Helios, I run the pub here in Haven. I hope you enjoy your stay"

The man's eyes light up some "Oh, you're Helios! We've exchanged letters before about the autonomous integration of your territory. It's good to see you in person."

Helios blinks surprised "Oh! Are you from the Kaiserreich then? Its nice to meet someone from there"

The man nods "Yes, I'm Uno, I'm Crown Prince and Arch Bishop of HKSL"

"It is nice to meet you Prince Uno. A pleasure to have you visit Haven. Are you just passing through?"

"Yes, I am currently mapping out the lands so our citizens can be able to get any resource they need and pin point it on the map."

"That's a good idea. I've not explored much outside of this area yet myself. I'm fairly new here, so just have been working on Haven."

"I've been here for a while now, have you decided whether you are going to become an autonomous region of the HKSL?" he looks at Helios intently at this

Helios moves his hands in a see saw motion "I am close to a decision yes. I do want Haven to stay fully neutral in everything so it has been hard to decide how much of an alliance we would like honestly."

"It's not quite an alliance I'm looking for, rather Haven becoming a Dominion of the HKSL."

Helios shrugs "Haven is a safe zone of neutrality. Giving up any bit of freedom makes that not true"

Uno hums "What do you think about dominionship?"

Helios taps his fingers on the counter some "I think it sounds fine overall... As long as we can keep our citizens privacy and our autonomy I don't see an issue."

Uno smiles and stand "That is great to hear, I'll be back in a moment as I need to go fill out some paper work! Thank you for agreeing to this." He stands and starts to head out the door

"Also really good kvass"

Helios nods and waves some "Sure..." He is not as sure as he would like to be about this "dominionship"

Some time later Uno comes back into the Pub "Hello! Could I have some more Kvass?" he settles at the bar again, setting some paperwork on the counter.

Helios goes and gets another Kvass ready "Of course! Welcome back. That was quite fast, your wings must be very strong"

Uno chugs down the Kvass "Yum! Alright, after filling out some paper work you are now officially a Dominion of the HKSL!"

Helios takes the paperwork, scanning through it "Thank you."

Uno sets the empty mug down "Could I receive the appropriate role in the communication domain of your region?"

Helios sets the paper work down "Yes, one moment" he pulls out his Comm device tapping at the screen for a bit "There you go. You are now added to our communications as an Ally"

Uno frowns slightly "The term 'ally' wouldn't be accurate. Could it be something like 'HKSL representative'?"

Helios hums "I can add that onto the system yes" he presses some more buttons "There we go, All set in our system."

Uno nods seeming satisfied for now "Alright, I'm gonna get going now, I got a mass to conduct." he stands and waves "Goodbye"

Helios sets him comm down and waves "Bye"

He watches Uno leave the Pub, still unsure if this was a good move or not on his part.
