Pool of Lies

The party have decided to head out to the Last Oasis to confront Banorram a cleric leading a fanatical cult there.

Day 2 reach Raam.

Day 4 south of Raam. The PCs come across a stone which suddenly starts talking to the PCs - psionically. It asks the PCs to carry them to a specific person in a specific place (the direction the PCs are going?) so that it can deliver a message. Unfortunately its carrier was carried off by a roc...

Day 5 see the sea of silt.

Day six  later they are attacked by a Roc

Day seven arrive Fort Inix

Day eight  party come across a herd of wild Aprig but perception test DC 17 shows one is limping DC 12 investigation that its sick - otherwise if they eat the diseased herd they get Tari Fever (Su): —bite, Fortitude DC 12, incubation period 1d3 days; damage 1d4 Con. The save DC is Constitution-based. Unlike normal diseases, tari fever continues until the victim reaches Constitution 0 (and dies) or is cured with a remove disease spell.

Day 9 see 20 Templars of Nibenay coming across the the blackspine gap = they are riding out to the statue head.

Day 10 - see the statue of the metal dolphin head where they left it in the desert - its guarded by 10 men from Tyr

Day 11 near Poortool’s Horde.

Day 12 - Blue Halflings out riders.

Fort Inix under the control of the Blue Halflings or the Blackspine Mountains

Day 13 - The party meets a wandering minstrel playing/writing this song:

In the scorching desert of Athas,

Where the sun beats down with fiery wrath,

There lies a hidden oasis, A welcome respite from the scorched path.

The water shimmers like a mirage, A cool and inviting pool.

But beware, for an evil cleric Guards this desert jewel.

His followers, a small but loyal band, Stand ready to defend their lord.

This tent and pool, their holy land, Their home, a desert sword.

Day 14 - Think its a beast, its a half corpse - with no legs dragging its severed torso through the desert with its arms - it says it a low dry voice 'water?' - if they give it water it turns to ash and floats away on the breeze. The next night the party is joined by the mans whole bodied ghost of Unknown.

Day 15 - reach the Broken Butte. The former slaves they gifted the place to have grown the community and have basic defenses as well as scouts and look outs.

Day 16 - The party encounters some escaped followers from Last Oasis who beg for water. If they give them water the party will be short.

Day 17 - Reach the Last Oasis.

Banorram and his cult have grown - water is being handed out to hundreds.
