First Division

The division that houses the majority of Cathal’s population, there are not many shops and the few that are here are general shops for the people who live here. In order to get to the first division, visitors must enter through the teleportation chamber located on the ground. The chamber is guarded at all times by two members of the Peace Guard. They will teleport people to either the first division or the second division's outer ring. Any outsider attempting to enter the city must declare their business as well as receive a stamp on their hand. The stamp will alert the guards if anyone attempts to use magic within the city as well as tell them where the offenders are located. It also acts as a passport, showing other members of the guard how far in Cathal you’re allowed to go. The stamp is invisible until activated.

• The Redbook Inn (5gp)

  • A lowkey tavern for those who like to wind down and relax. The walls are covered with shelves lined with a variety of reading books. Candles are the primary source of light, contrary to other establishments that use orbs of light, creating a cozy and calm reading experience.

• The Three Hammers(1gp)

  • One of the rougher tavern on this Division, this is where the rowdy crowd comes, tavern brawls are common, the interior is dilapidated on purpose and the overnight rooms are abysmal.

• The silver doe(25gp)

  • The highest class inn available to the public. The walls are pure white made out of some kind of fusion material and accented with gold rivets. It has high ceilings and silks that drape across it. The inn operates more like a restaurant where luxurious tables await guests and servers bring out your choice of drinks and foods. The fireplace occupies a majority of the wall it lives on with sunk in floor couches. The rooms are just as lavish with giant custom beds and luxurious down comforters. Each guest is also allowed 1 spa visit per night stayed.
