Created in 50 AC the Peace Guard spawned into existence to help balance out the chaos with some order. A year prior to their creation a civil uprising had caused some extreme violence in the young towns around Libreum, but especially in the capital. In order to handle the uprisings popping up across Libreum, Gideon, the second Lord of Libreum, created the Peace Guard, a force of skilled warriors to help quell the uprisings. The leader of the Peace Guard was a Half-Orc named Lumuz, he was also assigned the position of Lord of Peace, the first of its kind. Their creation was exactly what was needed to help end the uprisings and within a year of their creation things eventually returned to normal.
After the uprisings ended Lord Gideon decided to keep the Peace Guard as a permanent establishment in Libreum. Their headquarters are located within Cathal and outposts in various towns around Libreum. The posts around Libreum are run by individuals named as Peace Masters for that town. The current Lord of Peace is a female Aasimar named Navia Nekali.
The armor of the Peace Guard is white plate armor with black trims and the symbol of libreum (scale) stamped on various parts of the armor. The guards are split up with melee brawlers, ranged magic users, and emergency medical personnel.
