An organization created shortly after the creation of Cathal. Xyrrie, who later was known as “The Grand Archivist'', was obsessed with trying to understand the events that lead to the destruction of Palegus. She scoured the shattered continents to gather all the information that she could and piece together a timeline of events. This obsession with knowledge eventually grew into the organization known as the Knowledge seekers. Xyrrie knew that if she wanted to piece together the true history of Palegus she was going to need help, she herself could not possibly gather all the information alone.
Xyrrie founded the Knowledge Seekers as a means to protect and grow the wealth of knowledge she had gained. Xyrrie created a large spire where she stored all this information. Over the centuries the Knowledge Seekers collected more and more knowledge and smaller archives were built over the newly founded cities however the Grand Archives, the original wealth, is located in Cathal.
The Knowledge Seekers wear purple robes with golden trim and wear their symbol on their back, an open scroll with the universe flowing into it. The archives are open to the general public however there is a section of more classified and secretive knowledge in the Grand Archives in Cathal. This section is not open to the public but only to the elites. The general public can be granted access temporarily by someone who has access already.
At some point in time The Knowledge Seekers were elevated to high status for the service they provided to the entire country and Xyrrie became the first Lord of Knowledge. The current Lord of Knowledge that oversees the Grand Archives is Diz Astrado, a female Elf with long platinum blond hair, pale skin, and deep blue eyes. The Lord of Knowledge through the years are generally always Elf but have deviated from the trend once in a while. When one branch of the archives gains new knowledge, every other branch also gains that knowledge, the only exception is spells which are kept in the grand archives under high security.
