Treatment
Each Critical Wound lists the Treatment required to heal it. The listed Difficulty assumes the Critical Wound is being treated during combat. When treating a Critical Wound outside of combat, the Difficulty decreases one step (Hard (−20) becomes Difficult (−10), Challenging (+0) becomes Routine (+20), etc).
Entries that list ‘Treatment: None’ do not require treatment, and do not count towards untreated Critical Wounds for the purposes of Dying.
Injury
Some Critical Wounds cause Injuries, which take effect immediately but linger long after the Critical Wound has been treated. Injuries inflict long term penalties and may require medical care or surgery to fully heal, but by themselves do not count as Critical Wounds for the purposes of Dying.
