A crew of vampire pirates that roam Shargon's Teeth. They are rumoured to be a former Emerald Claw cell that went rogue, and were then turned into vampires by Harkness, the Count who leads them.
They were plotting against Second Chance, and Coreen was abandoned during a scouting mission against the pirate town.
They are said to be able to magically conjure a fog around their ship, so that they are not harmed by the sun's light during the day. Because of this, most of the sailors in the archipelago refuse to sail into fog.
In 1001YK, they captured the island of Hion'ator, which they used as their base.
