Talia is the granddaughter of King Boranel ir'Wynarn of Breland, and twelfth in line for the throne. By all accounts, she is a socialite who loves to indulge in scandalous behaviour; however this is a façade. She is secretly a member of the Dark Lanterns, sent by them to spy on Adira to see if she would be a threat.
During the gala at Argellan Falls, Talia snuck into Adira's office to read the Pirate Queen's diary; however she triggered a trap which gave the princess a cut on her shoulder, which she hid underneath her dress straps as well as she could. Her secret was discovered by Sacha Cresswell, but he appeared to offer his loyalty to her, so did not reveal her secret to anyone.
