Formed in response to the failures of Arkassouri Commonwealth ("Old Ark") to meet the needs of pretty much anyone not living in Bentonville City Center or high up in All*Mart's corporate hierarchy.
Using mountain guerilla tactics modeled on the Cuban Revolution, the PAA successfully overthrew the Commonwealth Government of Arkassouri. The Arkassouri Revolutionary Congress was dominated by the (by some accounts manic) rhetoric of Felix Hawkins, a Journeyman of The Hitchhiker's Guild and one of the primary leaders of the revolution. This led to the formation of Guild Protectorate of Arkassouri, with himself as its de facto leader.
