N.B.: I am definitely not a conlanger, so don't expect anything coherent here in terms of the actual content of this language. My goal is only to make words that sound distinct, without major regard for linguistic verisimilitude.
Bem Nomei ("Void's Call"), also Gehaarunomei ("Haaru's Call"), is the common tongue of the Haaru, whose dialects can vary by Tree Hearth (Rename). It has gained currency since their joining the Intergalactic Community (IGC), as the preferred dialect of outsiders.
As the name implies, the dialect arose for use in The Void, to be called or yodeled across a distance of miles from trunk to trunk. It has a rudimentary tonal system that aids in comprehension, as consonants tend to get lost at such a great distance. It is used in face-to-face speech as well, but maintains some of its yodeling cadence.
