The Gold Star Specials is a street gang of the mentally challenged across North America. Due to environmental poisoning, their birth rate shot up in the mid-21st century. At the same time, a collapsing society with scant resources left most of them out in the cold. Abandoned on the streets, enough of them managed to band together for mutual protection. At some point, it took on a life of its own and now they rule certain neighborhoods in the Outlands and Sprawls across the continent with force.
Their current leader is Dipshit, a taciturn and watchful man.
