NB: All references to "ER" below refer to the Expanse Rulebook, the full file of which is provided in the sidebar of Unknown.
NB: The AGE rulebooks are setting-specific. If something is not covered in the Expanse rulebook or the additional content here, feel free to look at the Modern AGE or AGE of Lazarus rulebook excerpts attached to this note (see left). You may include any aspect therein with GM discretion. Anywhere you see a list (Skill Focuses, Origins, Backgrounds, Professions, Drives), feel free to source from the other rulebooks or make up your own if it's balanced.
NB: Regarding Cybernetic Implants & Psionic Abilities: those fall under the Talent tree. Anywhere you see that you would gain a Talent, and you would prefer one of those, we can work something out that fits your character. For specifics:
- Cybernetic implants - World of Lazarus
- Psionic abilities - use Magic from Fantasy Age (Particularly Divination & Fate Arcana)
- Spells here for now: Unknown
- Determine what sort of role you'd like to play within the party. This can extend to your character concept, but you may want to learn about the setting first.
- Allocate your Ability Points. You may use either the 3d6 method or point allocation per ER, p26.
- If you choose the former, you must make all rolls publicly. Any rolls not made publicly will be redone.
- The book advises doing this step second. I like doing it later. It's your call.
