The only town in the Ticaret Yolu region is called "Gorunmez Kasaba," which means "Invisible Town". It got its name from the fact that it is hidden by the surrounding sand dunes, making it difficult to spot from a distance. The town is located near a small oasis that provides water to the residents and passing caravans.
Due to the frequent earthquakes and tremors in the region, the buildings in Gorunmez Kasaba are built to withstand such events. Most of the structures are made from sturdy stone and reinforced with metal braces. Additionally, the buildings are designed with low profiles and wide bases to prevent them from collapsing during earthquakes.
The town is also equipped with an early warning system that alerts residents of incoming tremors. This system consists of a network of bells and drums that are placed on high points around the town. When the ground starts to shake, the bells and drums start ringing, giving people enough time to take cover or evacuate the area.
It makes its living by renting out rooms and its many inns and taverns throughout the town for weary travellers. It is also the main port for imports and exports before Kilitli Sehir. Making it the target for many bandit raids, however rare due to the surrounding conditions that act as the town's own guard.
