Since The Reckoning
Maevin has declared a crusade upon Evil. Her custodians and followers
decide for themselves what the Evil they crusade against is and pursue
it relentlessly.
Her custodians are often wizards or clerics of the War or Knowledge domains.
Legends say she was born on Hadira in the Rowan tribe of Wood Elves where she became a fierce battle mage. After Nightfall she was chosen to be a champion of her people to bring balance back to her lands and in the Eladrin ritual she was infused with the power of Winter. Together with the other Travelers she set out on their quest to break Areth's hold on their world resulting in the death of Areth and the Rebirth of Itoa during the events now called The Reckoning. Afterwards legends speak of her crusade against all she considers evil, and her followers have taken up this same cause. A significant fraction of her followers are Aasimar who have left Winged World and are now known as Scourge Aasimar.
