When you hit with an attack you can choose to detonate the gunpowder cartridge hidden in the head of the weapon adding extra punch to your attack. This attack deals fire damage instead of the weapon’s normal damage type. It can also push the target up to 10 feet away from you if it is no more than one size larger than you. After using this mod your weapon needs to cool down, if you use this modification more than once per turn or in consecutive turns it has a 25% additive chance per attack to break the weapon. A broken weapon has to be fixed by a smith or artificer during a short rest.
