The next day, the party gathered to share their dreams and information. Zurick, with a grave expression, spoke about the Primordials - ancient beings whose very name could make one's blood run cold. Peregrin, however, was not daunted. He knew the cultists, and knew that they were bad news.
In an attempt to gather intel, the party donned janitor uniforms and acquired equipment from Mary in maintenance. With their disguises in place, they headed to the noble district, where they hoped to find Asek at the Creu estate.
Upon meeting Asek, they discovered that her powers were unstable. Despite this, she attempted to tell Peregrin's fortune, only to end up slowing his movements instead. The party also noticed bandages in the toilet, and suspected that she was putting on a façade for unseen onlookers. Asek likened being in her position to having explosive diarrhea, prompting the party to promise to bring her to the slums.

Before leaving, they gave Asek a "smash potato" and headed to the Bound Poker. There, they met Norman the cashier, who informed them of the lootbox system. Common items cost 50 units, while uncommon items cost 300. Rare items went for a hefty 1000, with epic items at 10000 and legendary items at 50000.
Peregrin had crafted rare magic items - topaz and amethyst earrings with four charges, which could be used in any combination and recharged after 1d6 days. The topaz allowed the user to cast a spell of charm person, while the amethyst allowed the user to communicate with a specific race, even if they did not speak their language.
Ara purchased an uncommon item - a one-time-use detect thoughts spell that recharged every dawn. Henk, on the other hand, purchased a small ruby that granted a plus 2 to deception once a day, as well as a consumable white transparent crystal which he could throw in the general direction of his enemies, hoping for the best. With their new items in tow, the party prepared for whatever lay ahead.
