Piek (pike), marked by an upside down spade (like a suit of playing cards), are one of the several groups of organized crime within Nakarta. The main leader of the group remains a mystery, though the ‘Ace of Piek’ is known as Plaga. The group has only been within Nakarta for roughly a decade, but their influence is spreading.
Plaga, the Ace, always wears a white hockey mask with a dark green upside down spade. They have white hair and are notably a young adult, most assume younger than twenty-five. Plaga has a reputation for killing swathes of people without any damage to themselves, and there’s always a stillness in the air after Plaga deals with people.
Plaga acts as a deputy at times, giving out orders and checking in on jobs the true leader of Piek has given out. Plaga never sticks around an area for long either, so sightings of them are spread out far within the city.
It’s hard to pinpoint Piek’s specific motives, as the group often does things to upset the balance of the city. Notably they go after electronics transports or even attack and collect netrunners for their collective. The netrunners they collect often go missing and stop communicating with those they’re close with and even the wider collective of Netrunners (as netrunners within Nakarta often warn each other or look out for each other).
