Couri (quarry), marked by a heart with a stitch going across it, is the biggest criminal group within Nakarta. The group aims to split up mega-corporations, as many like ScriptTech or Corca Inc are so massive they control many aspects of the average person's life. The group started up small over forty years ago and has continued to gain power, especially after the Rising.
The Ace of Couri was murdered violently about 4 months ago (about 2 months before the campaign started) and was left with the note “WHERES YOUR ACE UP YOUR SLEEVE?” painted across the wall of the room the Ace was in. Couri has been keeping to lower danger jobs as a whole since the incident, and the leader of Couri has been trying to find a new Ace. Many people assume that Piek is behind the murder though no proof has been found.
One of Couri’s main sponsors happens to be a popstar named Mauve. Mauve is known for her bright pink aesthetic, loud bubbly music and wild fashion sense. Most commonly she has a large pink afro and a big bubble jacket. Her music is often riding the line between electronica and hyper-pop. She’s very friendly, sweet and outspoken about the abuse her family faced at the hands of a reckless corporation when she was a child. She lost one of her legs due to a building collapse, and even after getting what she felt was justice, Mauve pushes for more work to be done.
Couri has a semi-favorable view to those in the public that actually know about them. Most people consider the symbol for the group to just be related to Mauve, and think nothing of it. Mauve adopted the symbol from Couri instead of it being the other way around.
The leader of Couri is nicknamed Serce, and is described as having an imposing figure and intense gaze.
