Born to no one important, but raised so carefully, when Odette came out in highschool her parents were incredibly supportive. Even with hormone blockers and starting HRT young, Odette had to wait to get the surgeries she wanted to feminize her face. Deciding to help her parents save up, when Odette turned 20 she started working late nights after her college classes.
Walking back to her car one night Odette was grabbed and forcibly turned by another vampire. Odette was quickly taken in by the coven and cared for, taught what she’s become.
It’s taken a few years but Odette has settled into her life, taking up a job in city management to take care of the vampires in the arts district within Nakarta. It’s been 5 years since she was turned and she’s managed to bring a lot of new artists into the borough and she frequently hosts events for young up and coming artists through Nakarta’s biggest art museum.
She occasionally makes her own pieces, often using them as her only outlet for her anger. A ‘friend’ of hers, Decoy, helps fund her ventures and provides her with a friend in higher spaces. Odette doesn’t like talking to him sometimes because he can be annoying, often getting in the way of her plans, but he’s done a lot for her.
Odette is still mad about being unable to get surgeries currently due to issues with her vampirism but she’s adapting for the most part.
