Magic users are already a small and vulnerable population, always at risk of the Nakarta government from collecting them or investigating them on the off chance their magic may be dangerous, but someone specifically targeting magic users and ripping their magic from them has left the community on edge.
The descriptions of Mister Bitterness’ appearance always change, yet one thing remains consistent: their attitude towards magic users. They seem overly interested, overly eager in their abilities. They flirt, lie and make themselves seem like the ideal romantic partner for their target, or even just a good friend and close new ally.
Their arrival in the city has made the last six months incredibly uncomfortable, and magic users have spread out even further and fragmented the community even farther than it already was.
