Akrus, dubbed the Morning Lord, is the god of creativity, dawn, harvest, birth, renewal, vitality, and youth. He favored those who struck out to better themselves and those who dispelled undead as well as blessed those who planted new life. He is sometimes seen as the lesser to Solatair, the sun god, and sometimes even as the same being but in recent years the two are seen as separate once more.
Personality and Power
While many see Akrus as a noble being, he is a highly self-servant and vain deity. Prone to fits of rage and outbursts, more than once has the Morning Lord's tongue has gotten himself into trouble with the other gods, though he rarely acknowledged any of his own faults or failings. While brash he is found to be intolerant of evil, especially undead and inaction that allowed evil to prosper.
Akrus appeared as a handsome young slender muscled human man missing his right hand. His preferred clothes were a set of colorful robes of reds, pinks, and yellows. A red and golden sash embraced the god's waist. He wore golden sandals and left scorch marks everywhere his feet touched the ground. Akrus often floated and liked to materialize in a glorious spectacle of dawn sunbeams. His radiant face darkened akin to a sun eclipse when the god was angered or upset
Relationships
Akrus happily lists his allies as Bahamut, Dieus, Frigg, Korg, Kymil, Tinara, and Titania. While he claims his foes are Bezel and Axgander, the latter has little care for the Dawn-Bringer. Siora Moonblade holds a great deal of resentment for Akrus, as the latter indirectly caused the death of Siora's lover, Khaine.
Akrus holds many titles, though the black mark on the god's name is that of Rosandra's Spite. While she is known as the hapless lover of the sun god Solatair, Akrus attempted to woo the goddess of love and light after one of her many failed courtships. Taking his rejection hard, he spat at Solatair's name and mocked the sun god to Rosandra's face, sending the many-time spurned lover into a rage and hacking away the Morning Lord'ss right hand and hurling it into a nearby hearth.
