Deeptower was one of the most important dwarven cities in the Bador Mountains, known for its rich mines and skilled craftsmen. The dwarves of Deeptower were famous for their expertise in mining and working with precious gemstones and metals, including Adamantine, which was highly valued for its strength and durability.
The city was built into the volcanic lava tract, with homes and workshops carved out of the solid rock. The ramp that spiraled down the walls of the tract was a marvel of engineering, allowing the dwarves to easily transport goods and materials to and from the mines below. The lid of stone that covered the top of the tract was so massive that it provided a natural defense against potential invaders.
Despite its isolated location, Deeptower had a thriving economy, thanks to its skilled craftsmen and abundant resources. The dwarves traded their gems and metals with other kingdoms, including Edencross to the south, and had a reputation for producing some of the finest weapons and armor in the land.
However, Deeptower's fate was sealed when the tunnels connecting it to other dwarven holds were destroyed in the Glowfall Cataclysm. The dwarves were trapped, and over time their population dwindled. Eventually, the city was abandoned and forgotten, left to the ravages of time and the elements.
The dwarven city was in year 2800 AT besiedged by a black Dragon called Vutrax the Ebonmaw who made the throneroom his lair and chased out the dwarves of the city who over many years of isolation been turned ito Duergar.
