Long ago, in the mythological dawn of Lunaria's creation, the material realm were filled with harmony and joy as the gods freely created creation. Among them were three mighty sibling dragon gods - Tiamat, Bahamut, and a Ruby Dragon. Together, they and their children resided peacefully with the other creation gods, overseeing the wonders of the world they had helped form.
But like all tales of old, a great conflict emerged in the heavens - The War in Heaven. The pantheon of deities split into factions of good and evil, law and chaos and the once-loving siblings found themselves on opposite sides. Tiamat and Bahamut joined the celestial war out of love and Justice, and their once-unbreakable bond shattered in the chaos.
The Ruby Dragon, the wise and compassionate, watched with a heavy heart as their siblings clashed with no regard for the consequences. In a desperate attempt to stop their madness, they intervened, pleading with them to find peace. But their efforts were met with hostility, and they was grievously wounded by the senseless fighting and where cast down from the heavens, forced to travel the world as a mortal to maintain their divine strength.
Filled with sorrow and despair at the devastation caused by the war between the gods and their followers, the Ruby dragon made a momentous decision. The Ruby dragon travelled to a peninsula at the edge of Tertan where many refugees took shelter beneath a arcane shield protecting a city and its surroundings from the chaos of the war. The Ruby Dragon, clad as a refugee sought out the leaders of this city and found no kings, no nobles, nor elected officials; but a group of five friends trying to protect the innocent. Seeing the compassion in their actions the dragon god gifted them a secret: how to harness divinity, and gave the friends a piece of their own scale. In a burst of celestial brilliance, The Ruby Throne was born, a manifestation of the ruby dragons divine essence and the embodiment of their selfless sacrifice. As the scale grew from that of a size of a thumb to the size that could cover an entire room, the mortal shape of the Ruby Dragon vanished into the air.
These friends became the First Three Triarchs as only three of them could fit upon the thrones seat, these legendary figures recognized the significance of this divine gift. With hearts filled with courage and a determination to protect humanity and all mortals, they claimed the Ruby Throne as their seat of power and wielded its incredible might to safeguard the mortal realm during the darkest days of the War In Heaven by shattering the continent of Tertan and sailing their peninsula into the open sea, dividing the supercontinent into the three continents of the modern day: Nastan, Rektan and Terram.
As the war eventually came to an end, the gods departed the mortal plane, leaving the Ruby Throne and its independent island to prosper on the other side of the worlds sea, as the rest of the world rebuild. The throne became a symbol of leadership and guidance, passed down through generations of Triarchs who ruled with wisdom and courage, only using the thrones power to help end the greatest of famines, droughts and calamities.
Through the ages, the legend of the Ruby Throne spread as it became the symbol of the Triarchy of Terram, and its origins were veiled in mystery. Some believed it was crafted from the heart of a star, while others claimed it held the essence of a forgotten deity. But the truth of its creation remained known only to a few, and that is something ill only tell to those who seek out the greatest secrets.
