Chief Varian was a young storm giant who was the youngest son of the previous giant owner of the Dreamkeep Citadel. He had inhereted a shard of the Skycrown. Though the shard had made him cruel and tyranical due to the fractured nature of the un compleated crown. He branded his followers with the mark of the shard and was quick to anger, even killing his own warriors if they showed weakness. He was slayed by the Champions of the Ankh outside of his camps walls.
