12th of Frostlay, 780

Haven't had the time to make an entry these past few days, unfortunately. It has been utter chaos.

Heists, infiltration, stake-outs, ambushes, kidnappings... I hope it all comes to an end now.
At least, that's what I thought until we found out Trym's last plans, a last hurrah if you will.
Pathetic, if you ask me. Couldn't fight like a real man. Can't even die like a real man either.

I hope we can find (another) solution to this all. And be done with it.
But I digress.

What's really on my mind lately...
I almost lost her. And I know she's feisty and would only give them hell for trapping her (and she did), but I can't help to think that this could've been it.
I could have lost her.

And I cannot stop thinking that if I don't tell her, don't show her how I really feel, I might never get the chance to. And I can't stop thinking about her, even when the chaos has been at it's worst.
It drives me insane.

When things get tense, I think of her sharp, mischievous eyes with such a beautiful green hue.
When things are screaming around me, what I think of is her soft freckles upon her nose.
When I take a hit, I think of her soft, gleaming hair that is oh-so-gently framing her face.
When I am bleeding on the ground, I think of her hearty, cheeky laughter that could brighten anyone's day.

I have been so passive, too scared I think. It's not the first time I've fallen for a woman of course. Or kissed someone. Or brought someone to bed. Far from it.

But it is the first time I've fallen this hard...
It is the first time my heart stops at the mere thought of missing her.

And that is terrifying

(A few small doodles are on the bottom of the page of various intricate flowers, surrounding a last sentence...)

I think my favourite trait of her, is her snark.
