The Great Totems of the Stroth

For the Orcs of the Stroth, the Shinria are not dainty forest sprites. They are the Great Echoes—titanic, primal forces that represent the struggle of life within the prison. These spirits are often bound to the land’s geography (mountains, rivers, or tectonic plates) or to the predatory chain of survival.

Orcish Shamans (called Bone-Singers or Storm-Callers) don't just "ask" for help; they challenge the spirits to prove their worth, or they offer a "Life-Debt" to tether the spirit's power to their tribe.

Unlike a Cleric who prepares spells via prayer, an Orcish Shaman might "carry" a spirit. If the Shaman’s Totem is broken or stolen, they lose access to their higher-level Shinria spells until they perform a 1-hour ritual to reclaim the spirit's favor.
