Physical Description
Gnomes are shorter than humans, about 70% of height and 45% of weight. Note that weight doesn't scale linearly with height, and that if all proportions remained the same as humans, they would weigh significantly less. In fact, Gnomes tend to have very high body fat percentage compared to other races, an adaptation that helps them survive in the cold. They have wider, stockier builds They are built to have very efficient internal temperature maintenance. Their skin ton is very light, and their hair and eyes can be any color.
Sexual Dimorphism
Females are little bit smaller and more compact, but there is not significant difference in muscle mass and ability to build muscle.

Where they live
Gnomes are bantams of Diminora who happened to settle in the far north, where it's cold.
Aging
Bantams physically age more slowly than humans, slowing as they get older. They reach puberty around age 9-11, and are considered adolescent from age 10-16. They are considered in their prime at 17-23. They are considered experienced at ages 24-31. They are middle-aged from 32-39. The are considered old from ages 40-46. They are considered venerable at ages 47+. The oldest known bantam to ever live was 59 years old.

Innate Abilities
Gnomes seem to have the best luck when it come to starting fires. Whatever method they use or tool they craft, it just seems to come to them more easily.

Bantams in general are very fertile and reproduce even more readily than humans.
