Origin: The Zoa are mortal beings who have been infused with animal spirits, granting them unique characteristics and abilities.
Language: The Zoa tribes all speak a common language called Zoic. The language originated from the animal spirits that infused them, and despite their geographical isolation, the language remains consistent among different regions. The accent and dialect may vary, but the underlying language is the same.
Characteristics: The Zoa possess physical traits and characteristics of the animal spirits that infused them. These traits can vary depending on the specific animal spirit, resulting in diverse appearances and abilities among different tribes. How much or how little of the animal's traits are present can vary widely. Some are covered in fur from head to toe, others may simply look like humans with cat ears and a tail. It's worth noting that Zoa can interbreed with almost any other race, but they don't have a notion of a "half breed." Anyone with at least on Zoa parent is considered Zoa.
Culture: Many different types of Zoa exist in many different parts of the world. Most Zoa are tribal and nomadic, but the player has discretion here. Some Zoa also live within human settlements.
Abilities: The Zoa possess unique abilities related to the animal spirits within them. These abilities can include heightened senses, enhanced physical attributes, and specific animalistic traits such as the ability to climb, swim, or communicate with animals.
