The landmass of Jinshin spans around 900,000 square miles, encompassing diverse landscapes, from lush forests and rolling hills to majestic mountains and pristine coastlines. Its terrain is inspired by Japan.

Jinshin operates under a feudal system, with powerful clans exerting influence and control over different regions. The political structure is centered around the authority and leadership of clan heads, who hold significant sway in decision-making and governance.

Jinshin's economy is primarily agrarian, with agriculture forming the backbone of its economic activities. The fertile lands support the cultivation of crops such as rice, wheat, and various fruits and vegetables. Traditional craftsmanship, including the production of fine textiles, pottery, and woodwork, also contributes to the economy.

Defenses

The Jinsei Conflict

The Yamikiba Clan, along with their lupine Zoa allies, have grown increasingly dominant and oppressive, seeking to expand their influence and suppress dissent. The Yamikiba stance on the Zoa has been that order is best preserved if they can be integrated into civilized society, and so they have grown their numbers by recruiting Zoa tribe to their cause.  Their arrogance and quest for power have caused widespread suffering and unrest throughout Jinshin.

Opposing them are the Nikkōen Clan, known for their peaceful and isolationist perspective. They are dedicated to preserving the ancient traditions, protecting the land's balance, and resisting the Yamikiba Clan's oppressive rule.  They have no desire to help or harm the Zoa but don’t want them in their towns, as long as the Zoa don’t start trouble. 

The Jinsei Conflict erupts into a full-scale war as both clans vie for control over Jinshin's vast territories and resources. The conflict is characterized by intense battles, guerrilla warfare, and magical duels that shape the destiny of the landmass.

Significant engagements during the Jinsei Conflict include the Battle of Emberfall, where the Nikkōen Clan unleashes a devastating inferno upon a Yamikiba stronghold, and the Siege of Misthaven, where the Yamikiba forces burst an important dam to literally turn the tide against the Nikkōen Clan's overwhelming numbers.

The conflict reaches its climax in the Battle of Luminara, a monumental showdown between the leaders of the two Clans. The battle's outcome holds the key to determining the fate of Jinshin and the balance of power between the elemental forces.

As the war rages on, the people of Jinshin endure immense hardships, displacement, and loss. Villages and cities are ravaged, ancient sites are desecrated, and the land's natural beauty is marred by the ravages of war. The Jinsei Conflict casts a dark shadow over the region, testing the resilience and spirit of the Eldrisi and Zoa inhabitants alike.  Both sides are wallowing in shame for what this conflict is doing to the world around them, but feel they have been pushed to no choice.
