Benjamin Butterball was the captain of his merchant ship, the Sparkler. With his crew, he traveled across the Boreal Channel and the Sea of Crystals, trading amongst various settlements (Port Ghamd, Ravenwatch Harbor, Tracteur Blindé) on his journeys.
Benjamin Butterball was a dwarven man with thick, tangled, blond hair and beard, and often wore a large, leather overcoat and two black boots over his striped undershirt. His left boot was painted brown to resemble a peg leg. He spoke with a thick pirate accent that he put on to better immerse in his love of the idea of pirating.
Benjamin Butterball was a pacifist, and aside from the persona he puts on glorifying pirates, he himself was not an actual pirate. His crew all spoke as normal merchant sailors would, and were often exasperated by his performances.
Benjamin Butterball was content to sail the high seas
with his crew, while maintaining the reputation of being a reputable, upstanding, and nonviolent "pirate" on the
ocean. He was a trader and
transporter of goods along the Sea of Crystals between Montsevain and Olessar,
primarily transporting goods like powder from Rookmore, fruits from the eastern coast of Olessar, and other commodities from any port he visited.
