The Black Pit is a large, circular expanse which leads downward into impenetrable darkness. it is speculated that the Black Pit is a portal to the Void, as the only things which emerge from within are demons.
Situated on the eastern border of Qir'ellan'alak, many denizens of Qir'ellan'alak throw unwanted items within, or throw individuals in there as a form of execution.
