The Court of Oresco was the court of the dawn within the Chimerazon. It was the antithesis of the Court of Vespera, representing beginnings, possibilities, and questions. It was associated with spring, and offered boons of birth and art as well as banes of mischief and chaos, populated by Fey of art and fertility and growth and drama.
The city was built in a crescent shape, akin to a sun rising on the horizon. The surrounding grounds and grasses were enchanted with the very energy of life creation: any disturbance would immediately jolt the plants below to grow rapidly. For as long as the ground is disturbed new plant life and even plant creatures can appear and would run to join courts ahead. Without disturbed ground outside of the city however, the creatures and plants rapidly die and crumble. The buildings itself were made of a prismatic, crystalline material which shone innumerable arrays of spectrums and colors through the curling and rising structures. In the city streets a constant party is hosted, with local Fey being merry and enjoying the good vibes endlessly.
Some individuals make more of an impression:
- Sir Bearington, a bear in a top hat who can never seem to gather a crowd.
- Wert, a mid-level representative of the Garden Pavilion who seeks out newcomers
- Geel, sunflower leader of the Garden Pavilion
- Caelanis Hundox, archfey of the court known as the Hangfire Magnate, leader of The Colony
The Court of Oresco generally has little in the way of long-term goals or machinations. The inner groups vie for the spotlight, but that shifts and changes every moment. Being the antithesis of the Court of Vespera, the court's denizens reject hard truths or definite conclusions, always asking what else could be possible.
