Known Properties

The Skulls of Exethuun table describes the abilities common to all Skulls of Exethuun, as well as the abilities specific to each kind of skull:

Borrowed Power: Crush the skull, consuming it immediately and losing all active effects. The next spell cast within 1 minute will not consume a spell slot, and will be cast at 9th level.


Skull of Made FortuneSkull made entirely of a deep green jade with a sapphire and a ruby in the eyes.

Skull of Pale DominionSkull made of white marble, with a pair of opals for eyes.

Pale Dominion: As an action, you can brandish this card and use it to cast Spirit of Death as a 6th-level spell (spell attack bonus +9, save DC 17). Once this property is used, it can't be used again until the next dawn.
