Session 115

September 8, 2025

Previous: Session 114; Next: Session 116

Start: 8th of Nasim, evening. In the chapel of Rivelish, having slain 60 vampire spawn and an Adult White Dragon. About to approach the parlay with Corbo "Fang" Leonourt regarding Qwack and the vampires' fight against Unknown (and Unknown).

In parlaying with Corbo "Fang" Leonourt, the party agreed to be allies for the time, and offered to assist Corbo "Fang" Leonourt in lifting the siege on Rivelish. In return, they asked for his process on creating more vampires, which he seemed to accept as a reasonable return for aid. He gave the party safe harbor in Rivelish in the upper floors, as well as access to their equipment stores. The party bandaged their wounds and slept the night in the weeping halls lined with stacks of coffins, sleeping in some of the more cusioned, vacant ones.

9th of Nasim, morning, the party readied themselves - Calliope turned into an Adult Silver Dragon, the party put on their best cold-resistant gear and mounted him - and leapt into the singularity.

Inside the Amber Prison, the party flew about and were buffeted by the howling winds, freezing rains, continuous lightning flashes, and bone-shaking thunder all about them. Aoife Sweeney put her Immovable Rod near the exit while Nesdin used Control Weather to temper the storm - he wrestled with the being controlling it but managed to quell the worst of it for a period. Flying up, the party was shaken by thunder before retreating, and opted to fly downward. With visibility clearing up a little thanks to Nesdin's magic, they spotted a mountain of an iceberg in the center of this storm-laden demiplane. Flying forward, they spotted figures within the ice, about 100-200 feet under the waterline. Digging through and withstanding the onslaught of Elemental attacks besetting them on all sides, they got to the center, which contained the frozen body of Qwack near a vertical tunnel bored in the center of the iceberg, leading straight up to the top. Using the tunnel, the party avoiding the thunderclouds and emerged.

In the center of this spherical demiplane, the Amber Prison, was an Amber Sarcophagus with a figure inside - a Firbolg druid (Unknown). The sarcophagus glowed with amber light and a storm similar to the singularity which served as the entrance swirled around it: Unknown guarded its claimed champion, and unleashed its might on the intruders.

End: 9th of Nasim, mid morning, inside the Amber Prison with Piddlewick II, about to fight Unknown and Unknown at the peak of the iceberg surrounded by terrible storms. Nesdin and Unknown both wrestled for control of the weather with their magic.
