Dante Rossi worked as a member of the Secret Service for the Italian embassy in Washington DC, like his father and grandfather before him. He heard stories of heroes of the past, as well as the myths of the heroes now, so when the powered criminal known as Forge made an attempt on Congress, he knew something had to be done. So he created his own team of heroes.
