Passing of the Powered Act

Bill Passage

In the memory of Otto Bauer and the Taskforce, in July of 2010 the Powered Act was recommended by the Senate Committee for the Armed Services. The bill would primarily act as a way of defining certing terminology for official use, this is where the term Powered comes from when discussing anyone with superpowers, or those without powers who can still take on superpowers threats. Terms such as Legacy, Mutant, Cosmic, Machine, Suit, and Mage were officially coined in this act. It also allocated the REPORT to be the expert for all things Powered, as well as recommending the earmarking of funding to be given to the REPORT for the development of power dampening technology. It was passed with a large majority, probably out of respect for the late Otto Bauer, and was signed by the president the same day.
